I haven't updated my blog in awhile and it's not that I haven't had time, I've just been focused on work, gym, diet and certain people in my life. Nothing interesting has happened in the month of February. I have found that I am improving at the gym quite a bit though. I am a lot stronger at my deadlift and squat than I used to be and it also shows because lately people walk up to me and ask me about form and how I got to lifting so much weight. It feels so good because I used to be that guy and to be able to share what others have shared with me is just awesome.
Friday night I went out for my co-workers birthday. We went clubbing at an 18 and up club because some of the people we were with are under 21. I was warned that this club would be crazy because its all the young kids going nuts and it was kind of like that. Clubs I find to be a little ridiculous and especially this one. Don't get me wrong... I have my fun, but its 20 dollars to get in and there's a bar which I find hilarious. It was empty because most of the people there are between 18-20 and they charge you an arm and a leg for alcohol. Now let's get to the dance floor. There's a lot of guys roaming around trying to dance with girls and they are consistently rejected and I can't help, but notice that a bunch of these guys look creepy as hell. One guy even tried to flex for my co worker in a sad attempt to dance with her. Being that we had a mixed group of guys and girls, its the guys' job to stop the creepy ass guys from dancing with the girls in the group. Not the easiest task considering these guys sneak up on your circle and just grab girls to dance with them. All in all it was a good night, I had fun especially after a few drinks. I wouldn't mind clubbing some more if occasions arise.
Lately I also noticed that people randomly recognize me these days. There's a bunch of people who say I look familiar or they know me from somewhere, but I have no idea who they are nor do I recognize them, which is odd since my memory is pretty good. Just the other day I went to this sushi restaurant with Mike and we were waiting for our other friend Judy. Well I ordered this thing called the "leftover roll" which is a surprise and I always order it, but I don't eat this place too often. And for Judy, I ordered her a salmon teriyaki. The waitress was like "you always order that and she always orders that". After giving her a very confused look she says "you guys work at Tap Ex right?". Its just a weird feeling when people know you, but you don't know them. Maybe I've been seeing too many new people these days.
Finally I'll finish with some good news. I got a raise at my job because we have been doing pretty well. All the workers got evaluated and got raises. It's also my co workers real birthday today and we'll probably all do something for her today.
Epic Success!

Where to turn
I've come to the realization that there's not much help in this world. I saw this post on facebook and I thought it was funny... it said "Before sex people help each other get undressed, but after sex they dress themselves, moral of the story, no one helps you once your fucked" It's kind of true... With the exception of family, which some people can't even turn to them, what kind of help can you get when you have problems. My friend got laid off from his job the other day and he told me that he desperately needed a job, no matter what it was. Luckily I helped him get a job at my restaurant, but other than that I can't do much besides offer my moral support. No matter how close you are with your friends, how much can they help you in your time of need. They can't pay your bills, work for you, solve your relationship problems, or solve your family problems. At best they can lend you money, or offer advice, or moral support, but at the end of the day, everything is up to you.

Crisis Management
So I play this game called Starcraft 2 and I watch this guy who casts it called Day9. In one of Day9's analysis' he talks about crisis management. When something happens and you don't expect it, what is your reaction. Some people make huge mistakes because thinking under pressure is not easy. Your decisions have to be faster, but just as accurate. Once you make the mistake, it only piles on and eventually you lose the game. My crisis management in the game is terrible, once someone does something unexpected I'm pretty much fucked. Good thing there's always another game waiting.
Now let's relate this to life. In my opinion, for a lot of people, life is a crisis. Let's just go with the basics like, school, work, and finding someone to be with. These are 3 fairly larges aspects of life. When I was younger, most people were finishing college in 4 years and they still do, but I feel like these days people are taking a little longer. Lets say you finish school around 21 years of age. You had a girlfriend in college and she's still with you, and you find a job right out of college. You spend a few years establishing yourself and your married around 24-25. This is a very good scenario and well this might be the case for some people, I feel it's generally unrealistic.
Let's say you finish school around 22 years of age, and you had financial aide. You don't get a job for a year or maybe 2 and I know this is ridiculous, but it is the case for some people, the economy does suck. Now you're 24, single and well now that you're working, you still have to pay off loans. Maybe it'll take you 3-5 years to establish yourself now. Remember during this time, you have to do this thing called life.... You know, pay bills, find a significant other, do hobbies, sleep. What happens when life throws you a curve ball and you get fired/laid off, the person you were dating for 2-3 years suddenly decides that you are not the one, you have health issues. Any one of these is pretty awful, how do you react, what if they all happen to you. It's not really that hard to imagine, probably happens all the fucking time. Before you know it, you're 30, single, working, unestablished and fucked. For those of you who have it all figured out, good for you, but for the rest of us.... Life is a crisis, you just don't know it yet. If Starcraft or work are any indication of how my real crisis management is, then I'm fucked. Good luck with life, make correct decisions and you'll be fine....

Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas to everyone who reads this. It has been a short year, for me at least. It's definitely been a year of change and although I'm not fond of change, this year has been the exception. For the first time in 3 years I was single, for the first time ever I smoked weed, I met a ton of people this year, and I lost 50 pounds. It's been a huge roller coaster ride with so many ups and so many downs. Being single was probably the one really bad change, but I guess I got used to it. I also kind of realized that I was the one settling and I have also met a girl that is perfection in my eyes. Smoking is good and bad... Yes it's drugs, but it's not so bad. It's great for relaxing and socializing. I don't know how or why, but I just realized how fat I was and developed this obsession with working out. I just really got into it and at the end of the year I've lost just about 50 pounds. It's been an interesting year, everything has changed. I hope to build on all this next year. Merry Christmas my friends...

The General Public Is Retarded
So I recently found out that Coca Cola had a new can for the holiday season. You might have seen it, it's kind of silver with polar bears. Apparently this can is being recalled because of too many complaints about it. What was the complaint? People couldn't tell if it was diet or regular. Are you kidding me? First of all it does not say diet anywhere on the can and second the nutrition facts on it tells you that theirs motherfucking calories. This is probably why our country is so obese... People just go with what they hear. If a regular coke can said diet, people who like diet would probably drink it and approve of it... The sad sad truth...
Second, yesterday when I went to work, this lady tried to come in before we were open. The chairs were on the tables, the lights were off and the place was empty. Then she knocked on the door because she couldn't tell if we were open or not. Apparently she couldn't read either because the sign that said our hours was in her face... She eventually left because she couldn't wait the 10 minutes until I did open.
Thirdly, I was working at Linguini's and I overheard a lady complain about an article because instead of saying how many feet it said how many yards and she didn't know what a yard was. Are you serious? You've gone this far in life without knowing what a yard is. The guys attempt to explain it to her was pretty bad too because he claimed that a yard was the same as a meter. It took a lot of discipline for me not to tell these people how retarded they are...
Sometimes I just wonder what the thought process of a lot of these people are and how the fuck have they lived this long...

I Stay Sick
Something that happens with me is that when I get sick, I stay sick. It is my fault though because I just don't like to rest or sit around. I get bored easily, kind of like in an ADHD kind of way. It might be why I enjoy going to the gym so much, it uses my focus and gets rid of a ton of excess energy. So being someone who doesn't like to rest and doesn't sleep because I've developed some weird form of insomnia, I don't heal quickly. I hate not doing something because it's just pointless to me. Also when you don't sleep, you have so much time on your hands. Probably the main reason why I made a fitness blog and videos, plus I enjoy it. I hope this sickness doesn't last more than a week, but knowing myself, it'll probably be until the end of winter that I heal up. Sad, but true.

Going Crazy
So I'm pretty sick right now and I can't think straight. My focus at work was really low. One of the more ridiculous things I did was confusing a thai tea with a mocha. One is orange and the other is brown so it's a pretty awful mistake. My energy level was so low that Blossom gave me tomorrow off, which I'm pretty happy about because I hate getting up before Noon. I didn't go to class and I slept from 6pm to midnight. I even skipped the gym which is probably the hugest rarity of all. Hopefully getting a lot of rest will help me get better.
